Friends

We have been spending some quality time with our friends and family lately before the big move and the more we see them the more we realize how much we are going to miss them.

On Tuesday Abida cooked us some amazing mexiacan food and we played a little Xbox...I must mention that Abida kicked Stephens butt (while holding Rashid).

Denise and Isgie joined us and Stephen read her a book...she loves him!

Tonight we met up with Joel and Gabby at On the Border for more mexican food and some frozen custard.

We love you guys and we will miss you dearly!

I had a wonderful Birthday...My hubby brought me a dozen red roses and gave me some cashola to get a few things a really wanted befor we move.

...Abida and Rashid took me to La Madeline for lunch and we spent the day shopping at Northpark....She also treated me to Gelato (yummmm my fave) She also got me the greatest gift ever! Nikki's Day of Luxury...It included all kinds of lotions, body wash, a manicure set form the Body shop, candles, potpouri...all kinds of little kink knacks just for me!

We met up with Brandi and Gary at Macaroni Grill to celebrate my birthday and fathers day since we were out of town...we had a lovely dinner!

After dinner Stephen took me to do a little more shopping and we came home with some wine and watched a movie...It doesnt get much better than that!
Thanks everyone for calling and wishing me well.
(Thanks Sissy for trying to wait until my actual time of birth...sorry I kept calling!lol)

Family Reunion

This past weekend we were in Pennsylvania for Debbie's family reunion. It was actually a lot of fun. I had never met Stephen's grandpa so that was nice and we had a wonderful picnic all day Saturday.

This is the view from Grandpa Payonk's back porch!

This is at the picnic...the scenery cannot even be compaired to anything it Texas.

I found a vine and decided to swing on it!

We also found a giant slide! We had to kick some little kids off but we got a turn!

Our New Home

The past couple of weeks have been crazy...but I have some cute pics! Here are a few

These crazy horses are all over town...we havent quite figured out why but we think its because of the Kentucky Derby.

This is Lynn's Paradise Cafe A*K*A the cutest Cafe EVER! I dont know if you can see in this pic but they also have a horse....They were on Oprah b/c of there Mac and Cheese and it was actually pretty amazing!

This is the bridge to Indiana. We went over but came back pretty quick...there not much to see!

And of course we had to stop at White Castle...its not as good as I remember!

Perfect

Everything has gone perfectly! I had my job interview yesterday morning and it went great and they offered me the position.

Stephen had an interview at UPS this morning that also went perfectly! He got the job and has 2 options. He can work at the airport and load the UPS planes there or at the distribution center and load trucks! I think the airport sounds like more fun but we will see.

And last but not least we signed our lease this afternoon on a townhouse. It is very similar to what we have now except it is only one bedroom. It is 2 story and has 1 1/2 baths. It has great closet space and we live the little fenced in backyard here are a few pics so you can see what I am talking about! I hope you love it as much as I do!!!

Costochondritis

If you know me very well or have spent any amount of time with me at all you have heard me complain of "chest pain". I have this weird pain that feels like me chest is caving in or "overlapping" on itself. It gives the sensation that someone has got my heart in there hand and squeezes randomly, not all the time and its not an unbearable pain but everyday at some point or another it happens. Many people have laughed at me (I forgive you) and others have called me a hypochondriac ( I forgive you too). Well my hubby finally got tired of my wining and a little worried because it has been going on for a while so I went to the doctor today. He diagnosed me with costochondritis. Basically the cartilage between my ribs and my sternum is inflamed. He said its not really something to worry about and is very common is girls my age. He prescribed me some steroid's and he said that should take care of it. I just wanted to let everyone know that I wasn't making it up and it really does hurt!
