Summertime!

If you've been wondering what we have been up to lately (because I haven't been blogging, or communicating with the outside world in general)...wonder no longer!

Since March I have been working mon-fri 7am-3 and Stephen has been keeping the girls! Its been interesting to say the least. I can't say enough about my wonderful husband and the amazing job he has done taking care of the girls, the house, groceries, bills...he even pre-set my coffee every night before bed. Love him.

BUT two weeks ago that all changed!

What we are currently doing is bumming around! It's fantastic! It's so good that I have to convince myself that it's not too good to be true but instead it is a wonderful gift from a good and gracious God!

I guess I should explain.

I'm working weekends. Two days a week, 32 hours. I get donuts delivered every Sunday morning and I am eligible for insurance benefits (which we will need them in a few months). It pretty much rocks. Shout out to LCP for being stinkin awesome!

My work schedule opens me up to spending every afternoon at the pool with my girls. We have been taking ginger to the park, going to the YMCA, we made a trip to the children's museum here in town and baking a lot. Like I said, bumming around!

Stephen on the other hand is working on graduating in December. That means 30 credit hours. It's pretty intense. I am just trying to keep the girls busy, and stay out of the way. It's tough having him home all day and not asking for help and for his attention in general but so far he's getting some work done. He's amazing enough to make time for us in his busy schedule!

We have a beach vacation lines up and I just returned from a trip to Texas to see Miss Cambry June make her appearance! Honestly, I think this has been and will continue to be the best summer since I was a kid, no lie!

What a blessing! How wonderful it is to be able to be home with your children! I like the idea of bumming around! That sounds awesome! Joey would not believe that your husband was a SAHD! He doesn't see how us mom's do it! HAHA. He's a great Dad though, he just doesn't know it! So you saying you will need your insurance in a few months, is that a hint?? :)

Yeah, he does a great job with them! I'm sure Joey would love a little boy to wrestle around with! ;)

No hinting about insurance. It's just that a lot of companies don't offer benefits for the weekend staff! I'm just glad I can get it so my husband doesn't have to work while he is finishing up school!!
