Aby at 3 Months

Aby turned 3 months old on April 10th and here is what she's doing...

-She is pulling everything to her mouth.
-She can roll over from her side to her back but screams when she is on her tummy.
-We think she may be teething as crazy as that sounds...but you should see the drool coming out of this child, she soaks the front of every outfit I put on her!
-She is also chewing on things (not sucking, which also makes me think she is teething)
- She loves to sit on her Daddy's lap and look all around.

-She is going to bed more and more often with not so much as a peep.
-I don't even carry a pacifier in my bag because she LOVES her left thumb.

-She is trying REALLY hard to stick out her tongue. ( I swear she thinks she is going it but usually she's not...she does think it's funny when I show her my tongue)!

-She is STILL not laughing, she did it once but no one believes me because it it yet to be repeated.
-She will still only swing for a few minutes but is not pooping in it as much (I know you all wanted to know that)!
- She doesn't mind riding in the car but she screams like crazy when we stop at a red light. It's pretty comical.
-Aby is starting to grip things (like her rattle and mommy's hair).


-She weighs about 11 1/2 lbs. and she is almost 2 feet long!
-Did I mention that she is all smiles and is the happiest baby EVER!

We love Abigail SO much and can't wait to see what she will be doing next!

A visit from Bobcia

Stephen's mom came up for a short visit and a nursing conference. We had a fun time planting some new flowers in our garden and even a tree in our back yard! Debbie got a chance to see Stephen in action at youth group on Wednesday night and even babysit for a couple hours while I got to work at my new job! We could not be more grateful for all of her help while she was here!

Aby in the morning...

Honestly!?!

Are you kidding me snow in April! When I left for the gym this morning it was the craziest thing I have ever seen it was snowing little dip-n-dot like pellets. So weird! Then when I was leaving the gym it was comming down so hard and it was so windy that it blew the blanket off Aby's carseat and my hood off my head so we were both exposed to the brutal elements! CRAZY! Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures while I was fighting my way through the parking lot! I do however have a few more pictures of Aby...

If you are wondering why this picture looks so pink it's because we bought Aby a new pink lamp for her room...and it makes everything look pink.

Meeting G-ma and Grump-pa

Stephen's Dad and step-mom made a visit in February, and Brandi took lots of great pictures. I will have more later but here are a couple of them visiting with Aby!

Stephen and I spent the day with Aby and Sofia. They are so precious! We had a fun day playing with these girls. Make sure to check out the video at the bottom...it's classic!

While Stephen knows that I took this picture he does NOT know that I am posting it on the blog! He is playing the part of the priest in the Passion Play and he has to wear a TON of makeup! Haha! I love it! I will get some more pictures of his whole costume another night.

Aby in the Morning

Abigail is so happy in the morning. Whenever I get her up from her crib she is all smiles. I think she may laugh soon, she opens her mouth as wide as she can but no sound comes out (yet)!

She also gets out of her sleep positioner and I have no idea how she does it. Anytime I check on her she is right where I left her but every morning she is has managed to flip herself around!

A long time coming

We have saved and saved and searched high and low looking for a new sofa. Our old sofa was very small and we never had adequate seating when we invited guests over. We also hated the color. We finally made a purchase that we are very happy with! We now have one nice piece of furniture in our home and we are very excited about it!
