Piper
"Make the Bible the supreme intellectual and emotional authority in your life; for the sake of magnifying Christ..."
Madeline
Can you believe it?
Yep that's right.
My little Madeline is 2 months old!
So what is she up to...
Well for starters she has a perfect heart. It beats in a perfect rhythm and never goes too fast. Thank you Jesus (in the most sincere way).
She sleeps all night long, in the crib, next to her sister.

She is very fussy in the evening, right when Daddy gets home from work.
She only poops once or twice a week. I'm sure you didn't want to know that but you might want to know that it's perfectly normal. I thought it was quit odd because her sister pooped several times a day when she was her age. Who knew!?! Who cares? I guess I do.

She smiles...sometimes. She even laughed once or twice. She kinda gets choked up though and coughs and sputters around afterwards.
She is over 23inches long, the 90th percentile for girlies born on the same day as her and she weighs 11lbs 6oz (73%). She is a pretty big girl.
She loves to sleep in the swing or the bouncer but HATES being in her car seat unless it's moving.

A few new names for Madeline are as follows...Mad-a"whiney", Maddie (obviously), Madeliney, Map Piper (given to her by the youth boys). Love bug and muffy cuppy are a couple of my favorites for the girls! I must also mention that Aby tries very hard to say Madeline and it sound like this "maa-wyn", it's super cure.
Oh yeah, she also looks nothing like any of these photo's because my camera is still broken!

Not Me!
It's been a while since I joined in the Not Me Monday! fun and this week I was actually looking forward to it. Not because I am proud of any of the following things but because I don't ever want to forget these crazy days! So here we go...
I did not recently discover that Abigail's hair will go up into tiny little pigtails and therefore did not spend about 20 minutes every morning and afternoon (after nap time of course) putting them up!
I also do not let her sit with her feet in the sink with the water running while I fix her hair..and she never ever filled her croc with water and drank it...nope I would never ever let me precious little angel drink foot water for the sake of tiny pigtails!
This is a crazy life and we have very busy days and I am a very busy Mommy but we NEVER let our little girl watch movies, we especially do not put on a DVD while my love bug is strapped into her highchair and force her to sit quietly and watch baby Einstein so that I can do the dishes. Nope. Never Ever.
I also did not serve Abigail's lunch covered in whipped cream with the hopes that she would actually eat something. In my defense the whipped cream was originally for her strawberries...I mean "what?" that never happened!
I'm sure there are MANY more things I could add to this list but clearly I have forgotten them! So check out Mckmama's blog for loads of other not me's!

Stella's
This past weekend we took our first official family trip out of the house as a family of four! It went surprisingly well, partly because I expect every trip our of the house with two children under the age of two...to be a complete disaster!
First we headed out to the local farmers market where we snagged some corn, strawberries, tomatoes and a fried apple pie (yum) ! Then we headed over to a surprise location (to me, Stephen planned it) called Stella's Deli. It is an adorable little deli that serves a fantastic brunch and just happened to be walking distance from the market, We had a nice walk over and then enjoyed our meal on the patio. Abigail was such a good girl, she even sat in her own chair and then passed out on the ride home. Maddie never made a peep!

I guess it is possible to survive life with two children.

It's Funny to Me...
How funny Abigail thought this was...
If you're wondering what the heck that is, its a pineapple of course, from her kitchen!

A Lazy Day
Today we stayed home and rested all day, only leaving the house to drive through and get an ice cream before bedtime! What a wonderful change to the normal chaos that ensues on the average day. We stayed in our pj's most of the day and some of us even refused to keep our diaper on after our bath..She is a hoot!

Baby Things
We have the bouncer, the swing, the bassinet, and the bumbo out and ready for Madeline....Abigail can't keep her hand off of them! She keeps turning on the music on the bassinet and getting stuck in the bumbo...the following was all my doing. She really likes the vibrations.
( of course it would be dark while she was actually smiling)
Sixteen Months With Our Sweetie
We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our new baby girl and it seems that with all of the excitement I have forgotten to keep everyone updated on everything that our "Sweetie" has been up to!

At (about) sixteen months Abigail is...
-Walking/Running everywhere. She moves a million miles a minute. She never seems to stop.
-Climbing on everything. I frequently catch her with one leg up on everything.
-A parrot. Aby repeats everything we say her latest words include. " rock, bible, cheese, ball, book, bird (biop), gingy, doggy....and many more.
-She put two words together for the first time yesterday...unfortunately they were "nooo maaamaa"
- learning to eat with a spoon/fork. She makes a huge mess but can at least dip her utensil in the food and put it in her mouth....most of the food ends up on her or her bib but she is defnitely improving.
-She loves to throw her ball.
- She currently has 8 teeth and has 3 visible teeth that are coming in. She has 2 others that are getting ready to come through.
- She loves her dog. She loves to lay in Gingers bed and give her kisses on her nose. She also likes to pull on her ears.
- She is in the 95% for her height...and can reach everything on the dinner table...we are worried that it won't be long before she climbs out of her crib.
- She goes to bed at 8:30 and wakes up between 8 and 8:30 every morning and takes one 2 and a half hour in the afternoon.
-She loves fruit and will hardly eat anything else if she knows there is fruit to be had. A few of her other favorites include cheese, yogurt, scrambled eggs and of course the occasional Chick-fil-a kids meal (including chicken nuggets/fruit cup and apple juice).
-She still loves music. She is a dancing machine.
-She loves her babies and rarely leaves the house without her purse. It is too cute watching her rock her baby and pat its back, and then stuff it in her purse!
We love our Sweetie.

The Little Ladies Room
It is nearly impossible to get a photo of the girls room that actually looks anything like the room itself so here are few. Have fun piecing them together. I love the way that the room has come together, it's crazy to think of all the changes we have made in the two years that we have owned our home!
